Overheard at the breakfast table

Hazel - There's going to be thunder today, and isolated storms

Hannah - What does isolated mean?

Hazel - It's when there's ice, but just in a few spots.

leave it to Hazel to come up with an even better definition of isolated. she's certainly linguistically gifted.

And I mean that in an honest way. not the snarky way I say it about those other parent's kids.
