If you wait long enough, it turns into February.
We hosted a Super Bowl party yesterday, with few enough guests that Jesse felt he could actually see and hear the game (and yell at offenders if he couldn't). All of my favorite foods were present - cocktail sausages, two kinds of wings, chips and salsa, suger & spice nuts, Kris's amazing Devilish eggs (with bacon and spinach, SO good), brownies, plenty of veggies and homemade ranch dressing, Angela's ubiquitous sausage balls that you (I) can't stop eating, a beautifully prepared platter of sub sandwiches...oh, and there was a game on. And some fun commercials.
Oh, and we made French 75's, which were lethally delicious. Apparently, mixing gin with champagne somehow mutliplies the liquor content.
The sweetest part was when the girls fell asleep sprawled over Jesse on the couch.
